PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy policy
Prepared under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations.
01Data controller
AMAD Information Technology, registered under commercial registration 1009067137 and unified national number 7039512905, at Dhahran Street, Building 9046, Riyadh 12642, Saudi Arabia.
For anything concerning personal data or to exercise any of the rights below: [email protected]
02What we collect
We collect the minimum necessary for the stated purpose:
- Contact data — name, email and organisation, when you send them to us voluntarily. Optional.
- Usage data — pages visited, time on page and device type, aggregated and with the network address anonymised. Collected with your consent.
We collect no sensitive, health or credit data, and the site performs no automated processing producing a legal effect.
03Legal basis and purpose
The legal basis is your consent when you send us your details or accept analytics, or our legitimate interest in responding to your commercial enquiries.
The purpose is limited to responding to your requests and improving the site. Your data is not used for any other purpose, and consent is never made a condition for a service unrelated to it.
04Where data is stored
Contact messages are stored in the company email system. Any transfer or disclosure outside the Kingdom is subject to the statutory conditions: that it does not prejudice national security, that a level of protection no lower than that prescribed is available, and that it is limited to the minimum data required.
05Retention and destruction
We retain contact data for the duration of the commercial relationship and two years thereafter, then destroy it without delay unless a statutory basis for retention exists. Aggregated usage data is retained for fourteen months.
06Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell, rent or exchange your data for marketing purposes. It is disclosed only to technology service providers processing it on our behalf under contractual safeguards, or in response to a lawful request from a competent authority.
07Your rights
The law guarantees you the following rights:
- To be informed — of the legal basis for collecting your data and its purpose
- Access — to your data held by us
- Obtain — it in a readable and clear format
- Correction — completion or updating
- Destruction — once it is no longer needed
To exercise any right, write to [email protected]. We respond within the period set by the regulations.
08Cookies and analytics
We run no tracking before your consent. Unless you accept, analytics tools are not loaded at all — they are not loaded silently. We use no advertising pixels, no heatmaps and no cross-site tracking.
The analytics tool we use is Google Analytics, by Google, and it runs only after you press “Accept” on the consent bar. You can use the whole site without accepting. It sets cookies whose names begin with _ga, and its data is processed on Google’s servers outside the Kingdom, under the safeguards in section 04. We have switched off its ad personalisation and Google signals features.
You can withdraw consent at any time from the “Cookie settings” link at the foot of every page. On withdrawal the tool stops and its cookies are removed from your browser.
09Complaints and escalation
If you object to how we handle your data, write to us first at [email protected].
If the complaint is not resolved, or you receive no reply within one month, you have the right to complain to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) as the authority competent to supervise application of the law.
10Changes
We may update this policy, and any material change will be announced on this page. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
